Terms of use
Last updated October 20, 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to the website at thelabledger.com and to early access to The Lab Ledger application at app.thelabledger.com. By using either, you agree to them. If your organization has signed a separate written agreement with The Lab Ledger, that agreement controls where it differs from these terms.
Early access
The application is offered in early access. Features may be added, changed or removed as the product develops. We review requests for facility access individually and may approve or decline a request at our discretion. Sending a request does not create a facility or start any billing.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Use accurate information, and tell us promptly at info@thelabledger.com if you suspect unauthorized use. Facility owners and admins are responsible for who they invite and the roles they assign.
Your data
Your facility’s information remains yours. You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to provide, secure and support the service. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access accounts, facilities or data you are not authorized to access.
- Do not interfere with, probe or overload the service, or try to bypass its security.
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to store content you do not have the right to use.
We may suspend access that puts the service, our users or their data at risk.
Your regulatory responsibilities
The Lab Ledger helps facilities organize records and procedures. It does not replace your own review, and you remain responsible for meeting the licensing, reporting and record-keeping requirements that apply to your facility.
Disclaimers
During early access, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We work to keep the service reliable and your data safe, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Lab Ledger is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from use of the website or the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will post changes on this page and revise the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
